From the Publisher:

The third book in the popular ‘Blaze of Glory’ series, soon to be adapted for television.
“And they lived happily ever after.”
In fairy tales, that’s always how things end. The prince and princess ride away on his white horse and from then on all’s right with the world. But what if it wasn’t? What if the prince’s life didn’t suit the princess? What if she felt stifled by life inside the castle walls? Could she tell him? And if she loved him—really loved him—how could she ask him to give up his kingdom?

My View:

I am incredibly sad right now. You know the feeling you get at the end of a great book when you know there will be no more? Yep that is where I am. My loyal readers know that I don’t read that much in the way of het fiction these days. I also am very selective about what young adult fiction I read. However, I have been waiting for Renaissance Man since I finished Look Twice in November of last year. Really since I finished the first book of the trilogy, Blaze of Glory, oh so many moons ago. M. Garzon did NOT disappoint me in the least.

I am not affiliated with Horses in any way, but I didn’t feel left out of this incredible world Garzon created. It just sucked me in from the start. As Renaissance Man is the third book in this incredible series, it was like visiting old friends. I watched as Tea had to mature and find herself as a horsewoman, as a girlfriend, as a mature adult, all without the companionship of her twin brother. I watched her and Jaden struggle with the changes imposed on their relationship and in their lives. I cried with the gang as they faced life’s unexpected turns. I smiled when it all came together in the end. I morned when I reached the last page and had to leave this world behind.

I feel like I just left some old friends behind. Luckily, I can re-visit them on my Kindle whenever I like. Also lucky for me, and fans of Tea, Jaden, Seth, and the Gang, Garzon has mentioned that she just might be writing a spinoff series centering on Seth (please on please let there be a wedding in our future… Seth need only be the Man of honor 😉 ). There is also still talk of a TV series based on the world.

If you love horses, read this series. If you know nothing about horses, read this series. If you love coming of age love stories, read this series. If you like discovering new authors who take the time to make sure their stories are exactly what they want them to be, read this series. In short, read this series 😉

I shall leave you with my favorite quote from Renaissance Man:

The sky was above me, the earth was below me, and the fire was within me. It was time to fan the flames.
