Accounting for the Hero by Silvia Violet ~ Review by Teresa

Silvia Violet is another GRL Author I’ve wanted to read and cowboys are hot!

Accounting For the HeroTitle: Accounting for the Hero, Hot Off the Range Series

Author: Silvia Violet

Publisher: Mischief Corner Books

My Rating: 3.5 of 5 stars

From the Publisher:

Riding and herding. Those spurs that jingle-jangle-jingle. What is it about cowboys that so doggedly fires the imagination? Join the Mischief Corner authors as they give you their own unique takes on the cowboy mystique and mythos, from the American West, to Australia, to outer space. The cowboy story will never be the same…

Grant longs for a hero to ride up on his valiant steed and revive his failing ranch, but he hires, Miles, a man with a desperate need for a job and no ranch experience. Miles may know a lot more about bookkeeping than calf-roping, but that doesn’t mean he’s incapable of heroics or of capturing Grant’s heart.

My View

Accounting For the Hero was like candy — sweet and you wanted more! It was a very easy read, low angst and short with very little real challenge.

Grant and Miles connect instantly, you could almost class it as insta-love. It would have been nice to have seen more development of the relationship before the I Love You’s came out, but I believe in the ability to make a strong connection with someone in a short time. It’s time and adversity that says whether the relationship will last; that is all that we are missing here.

Great little read when you need something light and sexy.
