Silence A Silence Kept by Theo Fenraven
Fenraven got Brandilyn to read a ghost story and kept her engaged from beginning to end.  When she was done reading the words, the story was not done with her.  This book defines “Book Hangover” for her.

PlayMeImYoursLG Play Me I’m Yours by Madison Parker
She had tears prickling Brandilyn’s eyes in the second chapter and then didn’t let up. She just wanted to gather Lucas in her arms and tell him everything would be okay.  From start to finish, she was engaged and pulling for Lucas.

UsThree Us Three by Mia Kerick
Mia Kerick is a strong voice among YA authors, and Us Three addresses one of the more pertinent issues facing young people (gay and straight) – bullying. Leisa particularly loved that the three young men in this story develop a menage relationship in which they all offer something unique to the relationship that helps fulfill the emotional needs of the others. Us Three is poignant, meaningful, and luscious – Do not miss it!

Fight was chosen for its genuine dialogue and authenticity. It is a wonderfully written tale of survival that’s thoughtful and poignant and crazy hot.

tough Tough Love by Heidi Cullinan
Tough Love was chosen because it’s Heidi Cullinan and everyone should experience her at least once or twice. She’s one of the best writing today at taking real life events and making them poignant and affecting.

20932995 My Big Fat Southern Gay Wedding by Sara York
This series was a reminder about how traumatic it can be for young adults who don’t conform to what some people insist is the norm.  It tells us that bigotry still exists, that it is terrifying, but that it will not win. It tells us that we can all get our happy ever after and more importantly we all deserve it!

Dirty Ross Dirty Ross by Sandrine Gasq-Dion
Caroline has to mention this book. When an author invests so much time in a series that readers are still excited when Book 22 comes out and are instantly clamouring for the next one you know it has to be good.  The characters are all interesting and are like a big extended family…… She just wants more!

Off Stage: In the wings Off Stage: In the Wings by Jaime Samms
This is one of the best and most real books I have read in a while. Full of angst, drama and honesty. Vance and Lenny are imperfectly perfect together.

Vampire in Suburbia Vampire in Suburbia by Ulysses Dietz
Beverley has chosen this title because first and foremost she loved the style of writing, and its unerring accuracy. She believes the author does no self promotion, but has written a highly believable and likeable character driven story, in the vampire sub-genre. Vampires in literature are something of a speciality interest of hers, and the vampire ‘Desmond’, in Vampire in Suburbia, is quite a unique gem. She has no hesitation in choosing this work, this month, as her recommended read.

only love cover 1 (200x300) Only Love by Garrett Leigh
This was Lirtle’s first read of something by Garrett Leigh and she found out what all of the excitement is about, why so many others really enjoy her stories. Full of detail, fully formed characters and twists in their lives that you don’t see coming. She felt like she truly knew the characters by the time she was done reading and they now have their places in her heart and are residing comfortably.

KingPerryLG King Perry by Edmond Manning
Ulysses would recommend these because Manning takes you somewhere that the usual m/m fiction doesn’t. These are profoundly moving stories that have the reader (or, at least, this reader) thinking constantly about what it is to be “lost” and “found.”  Lots of m/m fiction makes you feel—but not a lot of it makes you think.

Mnevermind 1 Mnevermind 1: The Persistence of Memory by Jordan Castillo Price
Christine chose this series for a number of reasons.  First, it was a wonderful foray into a genre she doesn’t often read, Science Fiction.  It presented her with an opportunity to ponder possibilities in memory science that were intriguing and creative.  She also loved the characters, especially Elijah, who is autistic.  It helped her to understand the constant difficulties an autistic person encounters, whether engaging in everyday activities or navigating relationships.  These books were excellent examples of thorough character development and clever plots.  She cannot recommend them highly enough.

Having read all of the other books in the “Theta Alpha Gamma” series Paisley was very excited when she heard that Poster Boy was being released.  She couldn’t wait to read about what those TAG boys would get into next.

About BrandilynRC

Brandilyn is a middle-aged (When the hell did that happen?) stay-at-home mom to 3 beautiful children (of course she is biased). She started reading M/M Romance and Gay fiction in early 2012 and was quickly hooked. In her first 18 months as a M/M Romance fan, she read over 900 titles in the genre (not counting re-reads), ranging from shorts to epic novels. She reads across all tropes within the Gay Fiction genre…. except Regency, she has never found a love for Regency. A native Texan she finds Texas to the be almost perfect… except for one thing, their treatment of the GLBTQ community. This blog is her brain child and she is happy to welcome some fellow GLBTQ supporters to review here and help promote equality (oh and of course fangirl/fanboy over their favorite authors and works).

  1. I’d pick ‘A Silence Kept’ by Theo Fenraven. I love the way he writes and for some reason this title managed to slip by me. Love the whole list though and since I’ve only read one of the titles mentioned, I seem to have quite some exciting reading still ahead of me.

  2. I love Dirty Ross. Sandrine Gasq Dion’s Assison/Shifter series is an auto buy for me. I would choose Only Love by Garrett Leigh.

  3. Vampire in Suburbia seems different and I’d love to try it. A Silence Kept and Only Love both look good, too.

  4. I have Tough Love and Dirty Ross already. So many good books still left though. I would like Only Love if I won. Thanks for the giveaway!

  5. I’ve read Only Love and I fell in love with Garrett one more time… I love the way she writes so emotional
I would choose Off Stage In the Wings by Jaime Samms
    Thanks for the giveaway

  10. Congrats to the authors!

There are so many good books on this list. It’s hard to choose just one. I think I’m going to go with Off Stage: In the Wings since I’m feeling in the mood for something with musicians. Thank you for the chance to win one these great titles.

  11. Only Love by Garrett Leigh! I’ve read some amazing reviews about this book. It’s #1 on my wish list.

  12. Would love to win Tough Love by Heidi Cullinan. Love her series and have been eager to read this one. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.
