I’m a fan of SM and his predilection for mindless fluff but this one did very little for me.

Plum is as good a thief as any he’s ever met, aided by the fact that he has a little magic in his light fingers. So when he’s hired to steal a wizard’s treasure, he doesn’t think twice.
Corm is no regular wizard, though, and he finds Plum absolutely enchanting, deciding he must have the pretty thief at all costs.
When secrets arise between them, Corm finds he might lose everything he’s worked so hard to gain with Plum, and he has to summon more than just his magic to set it right…
I don’t quite know how to say this so I’m probably going to flub this a bit. I feel like this is trying to be serious at times and a one handed read at others which, frankly, kind of annoyed me. Pick one. The premise intrigued me but the delivery was odd. Granted, SM doesn’t really do plot per se, he’s more about the instalove and demonstrative MCs with a teeny tiny bit of plot to string the sex scenes together. This “plot” didn’t come together well and, more importantly, I didn’t think the sex was all that hot thus the rating.
There are better SM offerings out there. Like fine wine he has improved with age. Trust me. 😉
