Sex is a fact of life, and it’s not something we shy away from at RainbowCon. We have a whole ‘adult’ track where panelists discuss sex, porn, and kink in fiction and visual media, and though some may blush, we’re sure most attendees will thoroughly enjoy the discussions offered.
Panelists will discuss if there’s such a thing as too much sex in the Fiction: How Much Sex is Too Much Sex? panel. We have a whole series of panels on the basics of sex where our panelists will answer all your questions about: Lesbian Sex 101, Gay Sex 101, Multiple Partner Sex 101, BDSM 101, Anthro Sex, and Shifter Sex. It’s everything you could want to know about sex!
We also have panels that talk about the current trend in rentboys (Sex Slaves and Rentboys), the differences between kinks and fetishes (Kinks and Fetishes), what turns us on (What Turns You On?), what turns us off (The Squick Factor), and the topics that are just too forbidden even for Amazon (Taboos in Fiction and Fandom). There is even an adult only workshop where authors and aspiring authors can learn from seasoned professionals how to write honest, good sex scenes (Writing Believable Sex).
And for those who just want to have a laugh, we have adult oriented games! From the hilarious Naughty Relay Jeopardy to Euphemism BINGO to the ever popular Cards Against Humanity, there is literally something for everyone any time of day.
Only those who are 18+ can access these (and more!) events, but we do allow for parent accompaniment of minors over 16. This is all about education and fun for everyone, so be sure to stop by these colorful panels and hear what our panelists have to say about sex!
RainbowCon is a four day QUILTBAG-centric event for anyone and everyone. If you love QUILTBAG fiction and media, then this is the place for you. You don’t have identify as GLBTQ to attend! You just need to love and support the GLBTQ community. In 2015, we’ve expanded our programming to include not only content for writers and readers, but also anyone who loves QUILTBAG television, movies, comic books, educational, and fandom topics. We’re an inclusive conference, and we want everyone to enjoy themselves. Check out our schedule to see all the fun we have in store for you!
