About Pulp Friction 2014
Laura Harner ~ Lee Brazil ~ Havan Fellows ~ T.A. Webb
The Pulp Friction 2014 Collection. Four authors. Four Series. Twenty books. One fiery finale. Spend a year with an eclectic group of strangers brought together through circumstances, as they are tested by life, and emerge as more than friends.
The strongest bonds are forged by fire, cooled in air, smoothed by water, grounded in earth.
Although each series can stand alone, we believe reading the books in the order they are released will increase your enjoyment.
I love the concept of the Elemental Connections novellas. In the first book, Laura Harner brought in two of her characters from her Willow Springs Ranch Series. These characters have made several appearances throughout pulp friction 2014. In this second elemental connections book, Lee Brazil brings back two of his characters from the 2013 Pulp Friction Serial.
Taking Chances gives all Pulp Fiction 2013 readers a glimpse into Rory and Chance’s relationship now that the events of that serial are complete. Life is not perfect as both men are dealing with the aftermath of what happened to them. But I loved seeing them interact, seeing how well they have gotten to know each other, and seeing how well they still fit together. I really enjoyed this snippet of Chance and Rory’s life. I must say, Chance’s attempts to be romantic and his gift to Rory at the end made this a very worthwhile read. Lee Brazil sure knows how to write a good romance.
I am so glad I read this bonus book and all I have to say is “Alright Havan Fellows, if the pattern continues, you’re up next. I’m ready, so bring it!”
I would like to thank the author for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
