When Prism was selected as a Featured Blogger for GRL 2014, there was one author I knew I wanted on tour with us, and I knew exactly what I wanted from said author. He was kind enough to indulge me 🙂

Enjoy Brandon Witt and friends in his GRL 2014 edition of the infamously misnamed Witty Hour

GRL Edition of the Witty Hour:

Blurb:

The Shattered Door

Itineris Press, the best in quality GLBT faith-based fiction, is proud to offer The Shattered Door by Brandon Witt.

After a tortured childhood and years of soul-searching, Brooke Morrison has finally settled into a comfortable life. While his sexuality prohibits him from practicing his degree in youth ministry in a church setting, he’s found a fulfilling job as a youth counselor at a residential treatment facility in Colorado. He falls in love, marries the man of his dreams, and makes peace with God. He’s happy.

Then his buried past drags him back to the Ozarks.

The life Brooke has worked so hard to build is crumbling in his hands in the face of painful memories and past abuse, and his confidence is withering. In El Dorado Springs, where his nightmares come to life, Brooke desperately seeks closure life doesn’t offer. Brooke must find value in himself, in his marriage, and in the world around him—and create the hope and perseverance to keep his past from swallowing him whole.

Submerging Inferno

A Men of Myth Story

Brett Wright and Finn de Morisco come from vastly different worlds. Disowned by his family for being gay, Brett builds both a life on his own terms and walls around his heart. But nothing can prepare him for the evil that stalks him in the night or from discovering the dark secrets of his heritage.

The youngest of a doting family, Finn lives a sheltered life that allows him to trust easily and makes him quick to jump to the rescue. While using his knowledge of the supernatural world to help Brett uncover the truth of his ancestry, Finn learns neither his magical life nor falling in love is as simple and risk-free as he believed.

New knowledge comes with a price—one that may prove too high for them to pay.

Don’t miss Finn de Morisco’s continuing story in Rising Frenzy, A Men of Myth story.

Rising Frenzy

Sequel to Submerging Inferno
A Men of Myth Story

Heartbroken, angry, and hurting, warlock Finn de Morisco can feel darkness growing inside, altering every aspect of his life. There are moments when the man he used to be seems to have been devoured completely. Retreating from his family and everything he once held dear, Finn attempts to escape the despair left in the wake of Brett’s rejection—only to find dangers he never knew existed.

Still struggling with the decision to leave everything he knew behind, Brett Wright is swept into a maelstrom as he searches for his place within his newly discovered family. Life beneath the surface of the ocean should have been unlike anything he’s ever known, yet prejudice over his demon ancestry and homosexuality follows him. Even the existence he begins to build may not last as those he is learning to love face extinction.

Clashing Tempest

Sequel to Rising Frenzy
A Men of Myth Story

Finn de Morisco knows he is walking into a trap when he enters the Vampire Cathedral to rescue his sister Cynthia. Aided by Schwint and his other sister, Caitlin, he intends to free Cynthia and avoid enslavement. But when he confronts the master of the Voice that has tortured him, Finn faces a grim choice: compromise his soul or lose his family.

For centuries members of the Chromis tribe have disappeared, and Brett Wright is on a quest to discover the fate of the captive mers and to stop the abductions. Despite the risk of tribal warfare, he embarks on a dangerous ocean journey to find other mer tribes experiencing the same plight. When destiny brings him back to land, Brett encounters new allies and old dangers while coming to grips with the past.

  1. I haven’t read any of Brandon Witt’s books yet which, from everything I read about how good they are, is really rather unforgiveable. Thank you for the opportunity to change that.

  2. I thoroughly enjoyed your latest Witty Hour, love the red pumps. I look forward to reading your upcoming release of Then the stars fall. Thanks for the giveaway.

  3. Thanks for the new episode of The Witty Hour! I think I was going through withdrawal. Can’t wait for Then the Stars Fall. 😀 <3

  4. how have I missed these books! looking them up now! If your humor is in your bks, like your blog you’ve found your newest fan!

  5. I love watching the Witty Hour video, so I have subscribed so I that can be advised when the next enlightening recording is posted.

Now, with tongue in cheek, I must say that I will not be attending the GRL as sadly no straight women can attend in fear of turning to a pile of salt and as your books are all boring so why bother LOL 😀 I wish I could attend but it is to far for me, but maybe one day as I would love to meet all the authors and people I have met on-line, without turning into a pile of salt of course and definitely wearing a pair of red shoes.

You say your books are quite dark, but would you ever consider writing a book with a more humorous/ligher tone or do you have one in the plotting/planning stages.

Thank you for a chance to win one of Brandon’s books 🙂

    • You made me laugh!!! Love that! I’m so glad you enjoy The Witty Hour. I have a great time making it. My next book, Then the Stars Fall isn’t nearly as dark as what I’ve written before. But neither is it over funny. I doubt I will ever write a novel that is mostly humorous. I won’t say never, but I don’t see it in the cards, as of yet. I’ll save it for Judith, Moonshine, and Arty! 🙂

  6. Thanks for the giveaway and fun video. I have not read any of your books yet either, so thank you for introducing me to them.
