Title: The Crying Game
Author: Kol Anderson
Publisher: Self Published
Rating: 4.5 of 5 Stars
William Davenport can’t take the weight of the secret in his life any more. When his brother makes the ultimate sacrifice for their family’s legacy and leaves William in the cold, it may just be time to accept the reality that everyone wants him to accept.
Kol Anderson has done it again! This is short and to the point…and hell what a point.
William Davenport runs the family company with his older brother Alexander. Where William barges in and does what he wants without consideration for anyone’s feelings, Alexander tries to have more consideration.
When Alexander decides to tow the family line to keep everyone happy William falls apart. The two brothers are closely tied and suddenly Alexander is gone and William is left alone. The damage it seems is done, William has hit rock bottom and tries to take the easy way out.
Without giving too much away Alexander is forced to come home and there is a huge OMG did that just happen moment.
I love that this author just keeps putting out these stories that leave you flabbergasted. You never get the easy option with a Kol Anderson book…..If you are looking for fluffy you are in the wrong place!!
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
