Entertaining BDSM, menage read.

Jason doesn’t do monogamy, and as a much sought-after Dom he doesn’t have to. But when he gets the chance to play with Benny, his sweet young assistant who wants only to please him, Jason holds back.
Benny’s no sub, but for a chance to be with the sexy Dom he’s sure he can change. Except he’s only fooling himself, and deep down he knows it.
Enter Rain, a sexy badboy who’s got a taste for the lash and pretty young things, like Benny. What’s a man to do when the two men he lusts after are determined that even a hook-up is not in the cards? Why, orchestrate one single night of pleasure, of course.
But when the whip comes down, and one night isn’t enough, it’s love, not leather, that’s bound to please.
Note:Bound to Please was previously released by another publisher. It has been revised and re-edited for this release.
I had rather negative preconceptions when I came to read this novel and when I highlighted my first item of note it didn’t change my inclination;
Rain pulled up his knees and exposed his hole, the dark little pucker winking flirtatiously at both of them
However, as I read further I found an entertaining well written read, with the exception of some purple prose (example mentioned above). The BDSM is done fairly well, safewords and safewording are mentioned if inconsistently. There is an EMT at the BDSM club Jason, the Dom in this story, owns and the EMT is mentioned when some scenes are arranged, this is reassuring in a BDSM story.
As well as Dom Jason, the other main characters are Rain, blue haired and gorgeous, and Benny who is Jason’s young office manager. The blurb describes Rain as a badboy and indeed this is the nickname Jason confers on him but he seems rather sweeter than Benny to be honest. Eventually, I found Benny rather whiney and although we are told that Rain enjoys ‘sweet young’ things like Benny he is in fact older than Rain.
There are enough characters to allow for twists and misdirection in this longer novel, which I like and it keeps the story interesting. There isn’t a hugely complicated plot, but the abundant sex scenes are very hot if a bit too abundant for me, but as I said it is an entertaining, easy and enjoyable read. Plus, this is one of the few novels I have read to have an example of lacing, although the procedure itself is not described.
The blurb isn’t overly clear but this is a menage novel, so if m/m/m is an issue then this novel might not be for you.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
