Brayton is a jack of all trades. He travels from one end of the country to the other, fixing problems of all shapes and sizes for the many supernaturals who call him for help. Then a friend calls in a favor, and Brayton finds himself in the town of Midsummer to figure out who and why someone cursed a gremlin. But the town of Midsummer is the strangest place he’s ever been, and the only thing stranger is his own reaction to the gremlin he’s come to save.
We are back in the town of Midsummer, a small town seemingly full of paranormals and somebody has cursed a gremlin.
Ferdy is a sweet little guy who is at his wits end. He is a gremlin and gremlins were put on earth to tinker and fix things. He is horrified when out of the blue everything he touches breaks and falls apart. Everything that brings him joy in life has gone. He has been cursed but has no idea who would do such a thing or why.
Brayton is a big bad lone wolf who never stays long in one place. He is also the man to call if you need help lifting a curse which is how he finds himself in the strange little town of Midsummer helping a gremlin unlike any he has met before and who smells good. He has a bit of an inner monologue running through his head and he can’t for the life of him understand why he feels so protective to the other man, he just figures he needs to get laid.
As the mystery unravels and we learn more about Ferdy’s ex we get nearly all the answers but not quite. Our big bad wolf is left contemplating giving up his lone wolf status and wandering lifestyle for an itty bitty gremlin who seems to be everything he wasn’t looking for.
