I hope you all have been enjoying the GRL Featured Blog Tour this year. We at Prism have been honored to be a part of it! As part of our #TeamPrism countdown to GRL I issued a challenge to the authors who have visited us throughout the year on the tour. Some couldn’t participate, but many took the challenge. I gave them each the same prompt and asked them to write a flash fic of 500 words, give or take a few hundred.
Honeymoon by Toni Griffin
David leant against the bathroom wall and looked out the one-way mirror at the stunning sight before him.
“How the hell did I get so lucky?” he whispered to himself. Olly lay exactly where David had left him when he’d crawled out of bed five minutes before to answer the door for the room service he’d ordered.
The hints of Olly’s naked flesh, interspersed between the folds of the white hotel sheets had David’s hand trailing down his body to where his prick was waking back up again. The sunlight filtering in through the gaps in the curtains caught Olly’s skin in just the right light and made it look like the man was glowing as he lay there sleeping.
Five years. David had never thought he’d find anyone to love him, had spent years alone, longing. Then he’d met Olly, completely by accident. Olly had been walking out of a McDonald’s as David was walking in. The man had tripped and David had ended up wearing his large strawberry thick shake. The rest as they say was history. Now, years later, David couldn’t have been happier.
He turned from his stunning view, switched on the shower, and held his hand under the water waiting for it to warm up. David stripped off the underwear and shirt he had on and flicked them into the corner.
Hands wrapped around his middle from behind and soon a warm naked body pressed against his back. David leaned into the touch and turned his head, leaning down for the good morning kiss that he’d enjoyed daily since a week after they’d met.
Olly pulled back and David was momentarily stunned by the expression on his love’s face. “Morning, husband.” Olly’s eyes radiated happiness.
David moaned. Husband. He couldn’t believe Olly was now his, legally tied to him forever. Of course, their marriage wasn’t recognised in Australia, but David didn’t care. He didn’t want to wait for his country to get its act together before he and Olly could tie the knot. In their eyes, they were now married and nothing and no one could tell them differently.
“Good morning, Hubby,” he whispered as he turned and pulled Olly into his arms, kissing him thoroughly. Olly tangled his fingers into David’s hair as his legs wrapped around his hips. David made sure to support Olly, after years together he was used to it when Olly climbed him like a tree. The first time, though, they had ended on the floor in a tangle of limbs and laughs. David could remember it like it was yesterday.
“You’re all mine now, love,” David whispered as he laid kisses down the side of Olly’s throat.
Olly tilted his head back, giving David more room and access. “I’ve always been yours.” After five years together David knew exactly which spots to suck to get his man raring to go. The noises his love made never ceased to drive him crazy.
David stepped into the shower, Olly still held in his arms. The warm water flowed over their bodies. David trailed his hand up and down the smooth silky skin of his husband’s back. He still couldn’t quite believe that they’d finally done it.
Yesterday had been like a dream. The way Olly had looked as they’d stood together before the celebrant and exchanged vows in front of the few friends and family that had made the trip all the way to the States with them would stay with David until he died. David didn’t believe his heart could be any more full of love then it was right then.
After last night, David didn’t think he would be able to get it up again, but with his husband’s naked body grinding against him, David had no choice in the matter, not that he really would want one. Hard flesh pressed against his stomach, David groaned at the sensations as he sucked up a mark on Olly’s neck.
When David released the piece of flesh, the area was dark and swollen, proclaiming this man as taken for all to see.
Olly slowly lowered his legs from around David’s waist back to the ground, his body pressed tight against David’s as he slipped down. David’s own cock was rigid and dripping. He wanted once again to be buried balls deep in the tight heat of the man he loved.
Just as David was leaning in for another earth-shattering kiss, a loud grumbling sound could be heard, even over the downpour of the shower. David pulled back and arched an eyebrow at Olly, the corner of his mouth turning up in a grin.
Olly blushed and rubbed his hand over his belly. “What can I say? You wore me out and I need refuelling.” Olly brushed his lips against David’s then winked and turned fully under the spray and picked up the shower gel.
“Shower, then food, and then bed.” David announced as he took the gel from Olly’s hands. He poured a generous amount in his palm and then started to wash Olly. Olly’s head went back, his eyes half lidded.
“Sounds like the perfect way to spend our honeymoon.” Olly moaned as David wrapped a slippery hand around Olly’s throbbing length.
“I couldn’t agree more.”
