Even this grumpy bear can’t resist this chipmunks charm.
Dallas likes the life he has. He’s the proud owner of the donut shop, Honey Cakes, and now owns the home he grew up in White Pine. He thought his life was perfect until Nikko the chipmunk sashayed into his life. Now, Dallas doesn’t know if he wants to push the spunky chipmunk away or make love to him.
Nikko has known since the moment he saw Dallas that he wanted the bear. Nothing, even the grouchiness of the gorgeous bear will keep him from making Dallas his own. But how can Nikko get Dallas to see they belong together?
Chipmunk Drizzled in Honey is the third book in the Paranormal Dentistry for the Fanged and Friendly series and it is just as cute as the previous two. This story was short and to the point. It was a little snippet of Nikko and Dallas finally getting together with the focus mostly on Dallas adapting to the idea that he can change enough to be with someone. Nikko constantly teases and taunts Dallas until Dallas finally comes to terms with the fact the Nikko is his mate.
Once again, I liked seeing the interactions between these men and how their animal influences their behaviors. I liked seeing Nikko’s love for nuts (of all varieties) and Dallas affinity for honey sticks. I love the scene with Nikko in his chipmunk form chewing out Dallas as a bear. It was funny, and light. Overall, this was a cute snack for when you need something happy in your life.
I really like this series. There is not much angst but each tale is funny and sweet. This one is also a good setup for the upcoming Christmas story that I cannot wait to read.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
