Each Friday, here at Prism we will be tackling a very important topic… of sorts. Five Thing Friday… The topic will change each week, so be sure to check back. We encourage you to comment with your own Five Things!
Topic: Places on Your Travel Bucket List
I asked each of our reviewers to tell me the five places they most want to visit on Earth. I have had a travel bucket list for the past 20 years, and I have been working to cross off as many as I can. I started with 100 places I wanted to see before I died. I have worked very hard to visit as many as I can. Of course I can’t help it if I keep adding to the list.
1) Macha Picchu
2) San Francisco
4) The Moon
- Australia (I have so many friends there to visit!)
- New Zealand
- Paris – Hubby and I have plans to do this without the kids!!
My list is way more than 5 but these would be my first choices!!
1) Tour of Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand
2) Tour of the UK
3) Travel somewhere to see the Aurora Borealis
Before I kick the bucket, I’d like to have seen with my own eyes:
1. Istanbul, Turkey
2. Louisville, Kentucky (more precisely, the Kentucky Derby)
3. Cornwall in England
5. Barcelona, Spain
Canada, I’ve always wanted to travel by train around the Rockies
Pompeii (the ruins)
The Caribbean – I’ve always wanted to stay on one of those beach houses on stilts way out in the sea.
1) Aussie land! Down Under. 😀
2) Scotland – I want to spend a week hanging out in Edinburgh
3) Belgium, Brugges in particular
5) Lots of small towns in Italy
Optimist ♰King’s Wench♰
Montreal for the Notre Dame Basilica
Costa Rica to zip line in a rain forest
New Orleans for the crawfish goodness
Amsterdam for the… well, you know.
Thailand for those fantastic islands
Arkansas & Kentucky – then I will have been to all 50 states
Vegas/Grand Canyon/Washington DC/Niagara Falls
Pyramids in Egypt
Australia/ The Great Barrier Reef
- Dominican Republic or Jamaica (some place tropical)
