Title: Unexpected Moments
Author: Bailey Bradford
Publisher: Totally Bound
Genre/Sub-Genre: Contemporary, M/M Romance, Menage, Thriller/Suspense
Love begins at the most unexpected moment…
Carter Hausemann and Eddie Canales are embarking on a new romance. They know they’re compatible sexually. Now it’s time to find out if they’re meant for each other—and a third man, because Carter has always known what he’s needed. He’d just been afraid to reach for it.
Eddie will do whatever it takes to make Carter happy, and since he’s not the jealous type as long as he’s included, he’s more than willing to see if a relationship can work between three men. But first he and Carter need to concentrate on them.
Dare Habrock has the microbrew everyone’s talking about. He also has a secret that has kept him from having a lover in far too long.
When these three meet, they begin to understand that love flourishes in the most unexpected moments.
But someone is determined to destroy every bit of joy they have.
Reader Advisory: This books contains scenes of multiple male ménage, light BDSM and references to fisting.
Howdy, howdy. I’m Bailey and I’ve got a new book out, Unexpected Moments. It’s a follow-up to the short story, Unexpected Places, that debuted in Totally Bound’s new What’s His Passion? imprint. It continues the story of Eddie and Carter, along with new developments in their relationship. I don’t want to give too much away 😀 Very sexy, intriguing developments, including but not limited to, much adventure, sex, drama, love, sex, and Happy Ever Afters.
If you purchase the book at Totallybound.com , there’s extra content in the way of a Bonus Scene, author interview, and a kind of illegible autograph. It took many attempts to make it look even that neat.
Today I’m blogging about what songs would fit in with Unexpected Moments. I don’t listen to music while I write since ADD makes my brain jittery if I try, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t songs that I think of when I ‘m writing a certain scene or what have you.
It’s another Top-5 list! If you’re following the tour, you had to see that one coming 😉
On to the list.
Let’s just start with the raunchiest one first—Closer, by NIN. When the guys are in the club, a dance mix version of this would be perfect. Don’t Google this one if you’re at work. Or around kids. Or anyone easily offended by blunt sexual need (that’s putting it mildly).
Every Breath You Take, The Police. Because creepy. When I was a kid, I thought this was such a romantic song. Then I got older and understood what was being said. If someone were doing me like the guy in the song is doing to the object of his obsession, I’d be filing a restraining order at the very least. Here’s a link to the lyrics: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/sting/everybreathyoutake.html
Father Figure, George Michael. Again, see above comment. I love this song, always have, but the video is really why I think it fits. If you haven’t ever watched the video, check it out here:
Just ignore some of the scary ‘80’s fashion, specifically the shoulder pads. Yeesh. If you’ve read the first book, you might know exactly why this one is on the list. Plus, George Michael. I think he is still gorgeous.
Greek Song, Rufus Wainwright. I am a huge RW fan, and this song in particular is one of my favorites of his. I even have a line from it tattooed on me: Your body heals my soul. It’s right below my Hub’s name, and yes, total Tramp Stamp. I think after twenty years of marriage, that should be called something else. Any suggestions? I’m drawing a blank, but there’s got to be an alternative name! Back to the song, the yearning in it is perfectly pitched, not too desperate, not too easily dismissed. Total hit for me. I don’t believe there’s an official video for this song, but you can find it online.
Shades of Cool, Lana Del Rey. Or almost any song by her. This one is ALL ST’s (Super Teen’s) fault. She is a huge Lana Del Rey fan and has a bit of a crush on her to boot. ST had me listen to this song, and I was hooked. Love West Coast, too.
So that’s my would-have-been playlist, or the start of it. ☺
