‘T is the season. Greg’s nights are silent and his bells don’t jingle. This time last year his boyfriend broke up with him, and he’s determined to get through these holidays with only minor bruising. So what if he lives with a cat and his best friend is his mother? Peace and quiet: that’s life how he likes it. Nothing is going to blindside him this year, no sir. Especially not a rogue secret Santa.

Brandilyn’s View:

Greg hasn’t had the best luck with Christmas… with being dumped by his boyfriend last year. This year, however, he has a secret santa trying to get his attention. Unfortunately, Greg isn’t in the frame of mind to be receptive to the overtures and goes so far as to ask the SS to stop. He even leaves himself out of the office secret Santa exchange.

Greg just can’t get into the feeling of Christmas. I can completely get where he is coming from. Let’s face it, I am not the jolliest of creatures this time of year either. Greg isn’t used to people being nice to him or even liking him. He doesn’t feel his worth.

Yes, Dust of Snow Indra Vaughn is a Christmas tale. It is a tale of one man finding his way back to humanity after being mentally beat down by the man that was supposed to love him. It is about one man finding his version of Christmas spirit and happiness. It is an enjoyable read for the season.
