It’s only three days ’til Christmas. Jeremy Porter is still grieving over his mother’s death, and Paul McClellan is a lonely divorcee just trying to make it home even though the only one waiting for him is his cat. It may seem like a miserable combination, but when Jeremy saves Paul from being hit by a car during a nasty snowstorm, their connection and chemistry are undeniable. It’s easy to cuddle up with a stranger when you’re snowed in but can a holiday affair turn into more if being together feels like home?
My View – Story:
Since the blurb pretty much sums up the plot, I won’t focus on the story itself. Instead I will focus on the way the story made me feel. The root of this story was wrapped up in the character’s emotions and that was translated to the reader. I felt a lot. I felt for the characters and I felt along with the characters. There were some issues I didn’t care for, like the quickness of the budding relationship or the way safety precautions were seriously overlooked, but those things fell by the wayside because the author made me feel for the men. I connected with them both and wanted nothing but happiness and love in their lives. Even with the emotions, this story was very peaceful and steady. I enjoyed it and am hoping there is more from these men. If not, can there be?
My View – Narration:
The Narrator did an OK job narrating this story. His voices were not especially distinct for each character, but the story was such that I could still easily follow who was who.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the audiobook of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
