Two strangers on a plane, one heading to Paris, the other Barcelona, both trying to get to their families in time for the holidays. It’s Christmas Eve, and all they have in common is a connection through London. When flights get delayed and cancelled, that connection goes beyond an airport, a terminal, and a secluded meeting room. And for Lance and Bruce, Christmas morning will hold even more joyous miracles.
A story from the Dreamspinner Press 2014 Advent Calendar package “Celebrate!”.
On the surface, this is really more of a sex short than a Christmas short. The Virgin of the title is the British airline. The miracle … well, that’s something to consider. I’m not a hook-up kind of guy, and I’ve never been really keen on the notion of the Mile High Club (always sort of a straight playboy fantasy in my mind.shudder).
Bruce meets Lance, 36A and 36B on an overnight flight to London on Christmas Eve. They’re going on from there to do different cities for Christmas with their families. Until fate intervenes in the form of snow. What if The One turned up on a crowded plane? Well, that would be a miracle, wouldn’t it?
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
