Blurb:

Exiled by his pack as a teen, Omega wolf Simon Moorehead learns to bury his gentle nature in the interest of survival. When a hulking, rough-faced Alpha catches Simon on pack territory, he tries to escape what he’s sure will be imminent death. But instead of killing him, the Alpha takes Simon home.

A man of action, Mitch Grant uproots his life to support his brother in leading the Blue Mountain pack. Mitch lives on the periphery, quietly protecting everyone, but always alone. A mate is a dream come true for Mitch, and he won’t let little things like Simon’s rejections, attacks, and insults get in their way. With patience, seduction, and genuine care, Mitch will ride out the storm while Simon slays his own ghosts and Mitch’s loneliness.

My View – Story:

If you are a fan of shifters and Cardeno C, you will likely enjoy Blue Mountain Pack, the start of her newest shifter series. We have a lone wolf who comes home to bury his mother. We have two alphas in one pack. We have secrets and skeletons. All combine to give us a heart-tugging story of two wolves, one who wants what he can’t have, and another that doesn’t want what he needs most.

The lore as Cardeno C presents it is interesting if a bit contrived and predictable The romance starts as slow burn, but once it catches it heats up fast.

My View – Narration:

Sean Crisden has not always been a favorite narrator for me. It took me a little while to get used to his style. He still has a few narrations that aren’t my favorites. However, he has both improved with time, and his voice has become a comfort listen for me. Blue Mountain Pack is a prefect example of how Crisden can bring a story to life.
