We asked each of our reviewers to tell us about What are your five favorite ways to get moving? Doesn’t have to be traditional exercise, how do you like to stay active?

  1. Five ways to stay active? I assume twelve ounce beer curls don’t count. :/

    *Try to keep up with the 3 year old.
    *Go to the personal torturer. . . I mean trainer
    *Treadmill – we belong to the university gym – it’s a big motivator when you see 20 y.o. olds and remember you used to look like that 😉
    *Walk the dog – she’s a hunting dog so she needs a LOT of exercise.
    *Walk to the Metro – although after today when there was no one in the train car when I got on, I might want to drive from no one to avoid the zombie apocalypse.

  2. Walk the dog; Ickle the Wonder Whippet loves her walks. Yard work; it’s a biiiiig yard. Sweep instead of vacuum. Yoga warm up when I feel like I’ve been sitting for too long, usually five surya namaskara. Wander from the laptop to the fridge and back several times a day. Travel with friends.

  3. 1) Playing with my godson;
    2) going up and down the stairs;
    3) going to the market;
    4) running to catch the bus;
    🙂

    Sometimes walking to work (too long a walk sometimes for the morning)
    Walking home from work
    running errands
    dancing around
