Each Friday, here at Prism we will be tackling a very important topic… of sorts. Five Thing Friday… The topic will change each week, so be sure to check back. We encourage you to comment with your own Five Things!
Topic: Five Favorite Ways to Stay Active
We asked each of our reviewers to tell us about What are your five favorite ways to get moving? Doesn’t have to be traditional exercise, how do you like to stay active?
Walking to pick up 7yo at school
Weights – yes I love lifting
Playing with the kids
Window shopping (wandering through stores)
Horse back riding
Physical therapy exercises
Let’s Dance – on Wii
Weeding – I don’t particularly like planting or stuff I do like weeding and leaving crumbly brown earth 🙂
Dancing in the Kitchen to the radio
Chair dancing while I’m on my laptop
Singing and Dancing in the Shower
(Got a bit of a theme going on there)
Treadmill (I read, listen to audiobooks, or watch favorite TV shows while walking)
Walking the neighborhood with my husband
Easy nature hikes
My dogs (walking or training them, playing with them – and yes, playing with two energetic pups IS serious exercise!)
Shoveling snow (really!)
gardening (exercise with a visible result, what’s not to love?)
Hiking & birdwatching
Walking my dog
marching in place while watching tv or reading
kick boxing even if I have not done it in a while
parking as far away as possible from everything
So what are your Five Things???
