Callum hasn’t the time to take on a new sub for training. He has his BDSM club – Pure – to remodel and open on Friday. He certainly doesn’t have the time to train Lee in all the nuances of submission, even if the boy seems to be a natural. But someone else wants him. Another Master who has no limits and doesn’t believe in safe words. If Callum doesn’t wake up and accept the gift of Lee’s submission, someone else will take it – forcefully.
Considering one of the MC’s in this book is a badass Dom the story was quite sugary.
Callum is on the verge of taking over and reopening a BDSM club when he comes across a sub being badly abused by a vicious and manipulative Dom. He does the right thing and stops the scene, administers first aid and helps the sub recover, but instead of walking away at the end of the night he takes they young man with the big puppy eyes home.
Lee is young, inexperienced and very easy to like. His step father is abusive and has thrown him out and in his naiveté he agrees to go to a BDSM club with a man that promises him somewhere to stay afterwards. Luckily for him Callum is there to put a stop to things before they get completely out of hand but by stopping the Dom and having him thrown out of the club he has either just made himself an enemy or found himself a stalker.
Lee and Callum as a couple click immediately and Lee’s innocence is a huge draw to the older man even though he tries hard to keep his distance. The author managed to write them into a very tender relationship and they come to care about each other very quickly. For all of Lee’s innocence it is not long before he has Callum wrapped round his little finger.
Whilst getting the club ready for opening the two men also discover how well they work together but someone lurking in the background is still holding a grudge and their happiness is soon shattered. This book has a little bit of everything and I have been left wanting Joe and Adam’s story now!
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
