Valentine’s Day is a time of love and affection, but as Jamie, Scot, and Davide explore their new sexual side and finalise plans for their future as a family, there’s one issue spoiling their new found happiness… Gray.
Deciding it’s time to move on, Jamie reveals secrets from his past in the hope he might help father and son put their pain in the past.
Gray has his own secret, one he must reveal to find true peace and harmony in his life, but sharing it might just break the tentative hold he has on the potential relationship with his son Scot.
When Angel forces Gray’s hand and the secret is revealed, it throws everyone into a tailspin they must all fight to recover from. Angel’s life is at a crossroads, and he must decide how to move forward. Saying goodbye to the man he was and searching out the person he’s meant to be.
Where to start with this one! First off Nicole Colville doesn’t write shorts – there was far more to this book than I expected in both word count and plot twists. This is an interlude into all our favourite characters lives that leaves you wanting more. It is a huge teaser for books yet to come in the series!
We didn’t get to see too much of the sexual dynamics between Scott, Jamie and Davide when they finally got together in Hidden Trust but boy was that rectified in this one. They are still new, they are still working out boundaries and they are still finding their places but when they hit the dungeon they are damn near perfect! I cannot wait to read more about these three and see how much Scott will let go in future stories.
Gray, big bad Gray, is back and is his usual cold self BUT the man has emotions and we finally start to see them seeping through him. He also has a secret, another one, one that will have a huge impact on the Victores and Burtons and when revealed all does not go as planned. The big question is how will Jamie cope?
We see more of Angel this time round and although his life is a mess and he just added a whole new complication to it we are left wondering who Wolf is and how that is going to work out. The man seems ready to run and who could blame him!
Now we have to sit and wait and wonder what will be revealed…..thanks for the teasing Nicole!
Loopy Lou! We can’t have that!! I was convinced it was the father right up until the end!! Loved it
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
