The one man he can’t forget is the one whose memories could destroy them all.
After the one man he trusted disappeared, it took Law Connor ten years to take a chance on another relationship. Trouble is, right about the time he’s finally ready to let go of the past, the past stages a hostile takeover.
Back when they were teens, Styx was the boy with no memory. He and Law had each other’s backs until he was forced to leave to keep Law safe. Now a CIA agent, he’s finally discovered who he is, and why he’s a hunted man.
Detective Paulo McMannus has almost succeeded in helping Law forget his lost love when Styx comes plowing back into their lives. No way is Paulo giving up his lover without a fight.
Suddenly Law finds himself on the run with Styx, the man who can still bring him to his knees…and with Paulo, the man who brought him back to life. The worst part? He can’t choose between them. And it’s getting harder to remember why he should.
Warning: Contains rough language, rougher sex and warriors who fall hard for one another.
There can only be one thing better than two smoking hot and slightly broken men together….and that is three smoking hot and slightly broken men together. When a ménage relationship works well it is a pleasure to read. Bound by Law was certainly a pleasure to read!
LC or Law whom we met in book 1 of this series obviously carries a burden of secrets around with him. He had one major love in his life, a man called Styx, who upped and left and although it has been ten years Law is nowhere close to being over him. It was fascinating watch him break his own rules as he keeps returning to Paulo. The sex scenes between the two were explosive and the very fact that Law sleeps with him more than once is relevant.
Paulo carries his own baggage and tries to stay one step ahead of the rumours always relocating before it becomes too awkward. Law maybe the first reason he has ever had to put down some roots but just as those sorts of thoughts cross his mind they both end up tangled up in a shoot and find themselves on the run. The worst part is that the ghost he has been competing with, the previous love of Law’s life is mixed up in the middle of it and is on the run with them.
This is quite an emotional story for lots of different reasons. Law comes face to face with Styx for the first time in a decade and finally learns the reasons for him running. Styx can see the feelings Law has for Paulo all over his face and has to face the fact that he may be too late. Paulo sees the love between Styx and Law and isn’t sure whether to fight or walk away. They all have to face their demons from their pasts and start being honest and open with each other…there is a lot of hurt to get over and nobody is sure who the third wheel is.
Forced to spend time together as the CIA try to find the bad guys makes a crazy situation even crazier but then the three men seem to find common ground and their jealousies die away leaving something completely different.
This strange relationship was the perfect solution for Law who isn’t capable of choosing between the two men in his life, more than that though the relationship proves to be the perfect solution for Paulo and Styx. With each man’s needs being so different to the other they are all able to provide what the other needs in a complete circle.
