Five Thing Friday ~ Authors You Would Love to Meet

Each Friday, here at Prism Book Alliance® we will be tackling a very important topic… of sorts.  Five Thing Friday…  The topic will change each week, so be sure to check back.  We encourage you to comment with your own Five Things!

Topic: Authors You Would Love to Meet

We asked each of our reviewers to tell us about What five LGBT genre authors would you like to meet the most?

I have had the privilege to meet a number of them in person already, however there are still so many on the list!
Here are just a few:
John Goode
Eli Easton
Chase Potter
Alexis Hall
Jay Northcote

Harper Bliss
Jennifer Fulton
Julie Cannon
Megan OBrien
Rachel Windsor

I think I would say talk to in real time rather than meet lol…

Alexis Hall
TJ Klune
Eric Arvin
Armistead Maupin
Dorien Grey

I’ve been very lucky to meet lots of the authors I admire already and hope to see them again soon.

Five is nowhere near enough so I have gone with overseas authors – the
Brit’s may be easier to meet someday!

Mercy Celeste
Amy Lane
Brenda Cothern
Z Allora
Sandrine Gasq-Dion

AJ Rose
Andrea Speed
Aleksandr Voinov & LA Witt
Brandon Shire
Harper Fox

Eden Winters – I’ve met her once already and can’t wait to see her again one day!
Z. Allora – see above
Pam Singer – dito
Sarah Madison – love her work to pieces
Clare London – she’s so much fun to talk to
This list is not exhaustive, not by far. I could go on and on – B.G. Thomas, Jordan Castillo Price, Rick R. Reed, Jamie Fessenden, Aleks Voinov…. I better stop now…

  1. Agatha Christie is one of the few I haven’t met (for obvious reasons) that I would love to meet. Also would like to meet Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Because of GRL I have already met Andrew Grey, Jacob Flores, JP Barnaby, Amber Kell, RJ Scott and so many more. I’ve also met at other conferences, Cherry Adair, Nora Roberts, Diana Gabaldon.

  2. The five LGBT authors I would like to meet the most are:

    Eli Summers
    Catherine Micqu
    Michelle Rae
    Vivian Payne
    A.M. Snead

    • I seemed to have met someone from most peep’s list Feliz – If you haven’t met Clare London yet…you are in for a treat she is so funny and down to earth I love her to bits – very useful too 😉 Charlie Cochrane is just adorable and her daughter Cathy is excellent company, and a sweetheart. Harper Fox is as you would expect and – I have mentioned before – actually made me slightly speechless (very unusual) with awe…all these and other authors I have met JL Merrow, Jo Myles, Blaine D’Arden are so lovely because they are as they present themselves – no artifice –

I would so like to meet Chuck Tingle because whatever gender they are they have balls of steel !!!

      • Ha, I had the privilege of Clare London granting me a dance at GRL in Atlanta – what do you think why I want to meet her (again)? That woman is just… yeah.

  3. I’m going to divide mine in two groups.

Authors who were friends before they became profecionally published
    Lillian Francis
    Katherine Halle
    Josephine Myles

    ‘Other authors’
    Jordan Castillo Ptice
    Josh Lanyon
    Abigail Roux

And a dozen or two more 😉
