Cover Artist: AngstyG

In a war that shook the earth, the six gods of Nendor defeated their brother Neldin, god of evil. For three thousand years, Nendor and the Seven Kingdoms have known peace and prosperity and Neldin’s evil was nearly forgotten.

But then Meglar, wizard king of Zargon, unleashes the dark magic of the underworld and creates an army of creatures to carry out his master’s will. One by one, the sovereign realms fall as a new war between the gods threatens to engulf Nendor.

Leading the opposition to Meglar is Grand Master Farrell. Young and untried, Farrell carries a secret that could hold the key to defeating Meglar—or it could destroy the world.

Farrell is joined by Nerti, queen of the unicorns and Miceral, an immortal muchari warrior the Six have chosen as Farrell’s mate. As Farrell and his new allies make plans to counter Neldin’s evil, Meglar forces their hand when he invades a neighboring kingdom. Rushing to help their ally, Farrell and Miceral find themselves in the middle of the battle. Cut off from help, Farrell attempts an untried spell that will either turn the tide or cost he and Miceral their lives.

The Last Grand Master – Has a New Look:

April fools is probably a bad day to roll out some new things, but I’m doing it anyway. As I’ve mentioned a couple weeks ago when we did the cover reveal for The Eye and the Arm, Book Two in the Champion of the God series, DSP Publications and I are moving in a different direction with the books.  The cover for The Eye and the Arm was revealed two weeks ago and today, I’m showing off the redesigned cover for Book 1, The Last Grand Master. The idea was to create a new look that would carry the series through all five books. AngstyG is the cover artist and I really love what she’s come up with. Now, the idea that an author loves their cover art isn’t anything new, but this time I don’t see me being biased.  The covers came out amazing.

To celebrate the new cover art, DSP Publications has put The Last Grand Master on sale for .99 now through April 14. You can buy it at all the usual places.

DSP Publications: The Last Grand Master

Amazon: The Last Grand Master

Barnes & Noble: The Last Grand Master

ARe OmniLit: The Last Grand Master

In addition to the new cover, I’m moving to a new website design. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s up for everyone to check out. There are a few kinks and there will be a few new features added in the next few days, but stop by and let me know what you think.

The two sites are linked, but if you’ve been to my old site and it doesn’t open, you may need to click the ‘.net’ link to connect. That won’t happen for long but while we’re working out the bugs, that will get you to the new home.

About the Author:

Head shotAndrew Q. Gordon wrote his first story back when yellow legal pads, ball point pens were common and a Smith Corona correctable typewriter was considered high tech. Adapting with technology, he now takes his MacBook somewhere quiet when he wants to write.

He currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area with his husband of twenty years, their daughter and dog.  In addition to dodging some very self-important D.C. ‘insiders’, Andrew uses his commute to catch up on his reading. When not working or writing, he enjoys soccer, high fantasy, baseball and seeing how much coffee he can drink in a day.
