Thou shalt not covet thy host’s submissive
When a Domme loves a Domme, strange things can happen. When a Domme loves a Domme who is her former submissive and cheated with her best friend, all of the usual fun with handcuffs turns into something darker.
Graciela struggles to control her attraction to the headstrong, beautiful woman who broke her heart ten years ago. She offers temporary shelter to a fellow human in crisis, nothing more. But when Trinity buckles under Graciela’s righteous anger and begs for forgiveness, Graciela’s resolve wavers. Can she ever trust again? Does Trinity deserve a second chance, or is this yet another manipulation?
This is the tale of Domme/Nurse Trinity who violated the trust of her clients and interfered in their relationship and her former Domme, teacher and lover Graciela who now needs to make things right with the couple as well as punish Trinity for her misdeeds.
Anastasia Vitsky is a very talented writer. I have loved almost everything she has written and it just gets better and better. This book is a continuation of a story line but it is perfectly fine as a stand alone. I have not read the past ones and I do not feel like I was missing anything. I love how Ms Vitsky can draw you into the story and make the outside world seem to fade away.
The characters are so very easy to love and care about. There are times you just wanted to scream in frustration at Trinity and times I was ready to cry for both Trinity and Graciela… The love Graciela still holds for Trinity is so strong and yet fragile… Trinity’s need for Graciela runs soul deep… These people are so real in their imperfections, thoughts and actions. They will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride and leave you feeling winded and eventually content. The only problem I have, which really isn’t a problem, is I cant decide if I like the sex scenes being a fade to black as much as I would like them to be spelled out. In a lot of ways I think it would totally change the feel of the story if it were spelled out and the book would lose some of its tenderness….. something to think about.
The ending was just about as perfectly perfect as anyone could ask. I am going to have to read the others in the series, Desire in Any Language, Mira’s Miracle, and Fire of Desire (that’s free on her blog (for now anyway) https://governingana.wordpress.com/free-reads/ )
Thank you again Ms Vitsky.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
