Will new revelations about Hunter’s desires rekindle the romance with Kyle or put an end to things?

Committed couple Hunter and Kyle have been together a long time. They love each other very much, but they’re apart a lot, and there are very few surprises left in the bedroom anymore—or are there?

When business trips lead Hunter to some eye-opening time on the Internet, he discovers a side to himself that he never knew existed. The kinky things he learns make him want Kyle all the more, make him want to go home and play all sorts of naughty games. He feels compelled to tell Kyle about it, even if he’s embarrassed, wanting to be honest. Will their relationship survive his revelation? Or will Kyle be disgusted by this new side of him?

Christine’s View:

Hunter and Kyle are in a committed, established relationship. Hunter is frequently away on business, however, leaving Kyle home alone. While on a yet another trip, Hunter spends a little time on the Internet and becomes intrigued by the idea of playing around with a little kink in the bedroom. As he becomes more captivated by the possibility of trying some new things with Kyle, he struggles to be honest and communicate with his partner, afraid to risk what they have worked so hard to build together.

Hunter and Kyle are adorable. They are obviously in love, sincere in their affection and devotion towards one another. Though the reader may have to suspend belief at times, the erotic scenes generate tons of heat. The characters and their interactions are compelling as they make new discoveries about themselves and each other. Although I felt some of the endearments were overused, their romance and passion were evident and charming.

This story is firmly set in erotic tones, and it’s clear that these two are emotionally and physically ensconced in their relationship. I do wish there had been a bit more development of their feelings regarding the D/s elements that are broached, as I felt that the emotions associated with domination and submission were somewhat lacking. Overall, however, this is an enjoyable little erotic adventure. It’s fun, sexy, and sweet, and it certainly pushed some of my buttons (in the best way). I recommend it for a quick, steamy read that reaffirms the passion that still exists within long-term relationships.
