Book Seven in the Supernatural Mates series.
When a bleeding lion shifter collapses in the alley outside his restaurant, Garret Halcon discovers the one thing missing in his life was love.
Garret Halcon found a lion shifter bleeding behind the alley in his restaurant. Unusually attached to a complete stranger, he follows him to the hospital.
Cesar’s sweet temperament and ability to lead attracts Garret as much as his sexy body. When he runs into the problem of too many alphas in one town he has to prove to Talan he can be a successful member of the pride without being a problem.
Will Cesar be able to complete a task set to him by the lion alpha or will he die for the sake of his pride?
When the abused Lions were previously found at the lab their alpha Cesar was missing. It turns out he had a hand in their rescue but was then shot and got left behind. When grumpy Hawk shifter Garret finds him bleeding out at the back of his restaurant he rushes him to hospital and refuses to leave his side.
There are all sorts of problems that lie ahead for Cesar, the biggest being Talan, alpha of the local pride. Instead of a challenge for power a compromise is reached where the two lions will try and live in harmony but no one is sure how that will work out. Garret has never been fond of felines and now finds himself enamoured by one that is both shy and dominant. There isn’t too much time spent on Garret and Cesar’s relationship, this story is more about Cesar carving out a place for himself in the small shifter town with a small band of Lions who hang on his every word.
Short and sweet.
