Retired soldier Blake Best drives hard – his car, his life, and his choices. Former Airman Parker Monteith is fighting to keep his life on cruise control so he doesn’t lose it all. One Maserati brings them together. Can Blake slow down enough to discover the important things aren’t in the fast lane?

Story Review:

I first read Cruise Control as a part of the Unconditional Surrender – an M/M Military Bundle. Here is what I had to say

A sweet tale of two veterans who are twisting in the wind who find each other and find home for the first time since they got out of their respective branches. There isn’t any angst in this story, but it is a great start to this collection.

Honestly, I don’t know that I have a whole lot to add to that assessment. It isn’t an overly long story, but it is a good comfort read. If you like your men in uniform and driving hot cars, you will enjoy this one.

Narration Review:

Jason P. Hilton is a new-to-me narrator. He did an admirable job. Often I am leery of new narrators, especially when a title is a self-published title. Getting an audiobook produced is not a cheap endeavor. However, Hilton does a quality job with Blake and Parker’s story.
