Blurb:

What is it about lesbian cops that pushes all the right buttons? It’s not just the uniform, with handcuffs and weapons, or the confidence, authority, and sense of danger. There’s something more as well, an irresistible force that these writers have channeled into fiercely erotic stories of policewomen in or out of uniform, on patrol or undercover, in charge or in need of healing, on the case or under the sheets.

The action can be gut-level tough, as in Jove Belle’s ”Hollis” where anti-terrorism boot camp surges over the inevitable edge into BDSM, or heart-wrenching as in Evan Mora’s “A Cop’s Wife” when death threats sharpen the need for life-affirming sex to a keen edge, or quirky as well as steamy while Teresa Noelle Roberts’s cop finds a way to maintain respect for her own “Dress Uniform” while indulging her anime-girl lover’s cos-play kink. Delilah Devlin, Andrea Dale, R. G. Emanuelle, Cheyenne Blue, and all the other contributors offer their own sizzling visions of the complexity and depth, the strength and vulnerability, and above all the commanding, overwhelming sex appeal of Lesbian Cops.

My View:

Too Hot to “Freeze”

This book was not what I expected. I’m not really sure what I did expect. Maybe some naughty officers frisking a fast woman or sex in the locker room. That is not what I got and I am nowhere near able to complain about it.

Sacchi Green put together a group of fourteen different authors in this compilation of cop themed short stories. While erotic, for the most part, everyday women in uniform. All but 1 of the stories was new to me and more than half the authors.

In spite of the heat level most stories were on the tender and even partially, the romantic side. There were a one night stand or two, a few with committed relationships, some potential couples. For the most part the stories weren’t of randy sleep around girls, they were of mature women in mature situations and the voice of the book reflected this.

Hollis by Jove Bell was super hot and fun as was Dress Uniform by Teresa Noelle Roberts. RG Emanuelle and Ily Goyanes get in on the join in on the sexy romps with A Cop at My Door and Undressed. Charity and Splendor by Andrea Dale and A Cops Wife by Evan Mora really touched my heart as did Lynn Mixon and Cheyenne Blue with A Helping Hand and How does Your Garden Grow respectively. They were so strong and brave and loving and wonderful. Chapel Street Blues by RV Raiment had a real surprise twist.

Check it out for yourself.
