According to legend, when humankind is at its most desperate, the goddess Sirius will send three of the most powerful werewolf shifters ever created to save mankind. However, because they are so powerful, they will need a fourth to complete them, to calm them and help them reach their full potential.

Aden, a young were, has been his pack’s omega ever since, at the age of fifteen, he didn’t shift like everyone else. Caught, reviled, and tortured because of his empathic abilities, he knew on the night he was told to run as sport for the pack hunters that it would end in his death. What he didn’t know, however, was that on the same night he’d also meet the love of his life and a pathway to answers, because Aden is far more than just a pack omega.

What begins as a hunt soon becomes a new adventure as Aden discovers that he has not only one, but three destined mates, and his role as lover is far more than trivial. The fate of all humankind rests upon it.

My View:

This was such a good surprise and something very different from Victoria Sue.

If you are like me and you enjoy reading a good shifter book then this has a lot of new elements, great characters and amazing world building.

The story is based on an old werewolf legend that says when the time is right three alpha wolves and an omega, or psi, will come together and form Orion’s Circle and work to bring werewolf packs together and have them live in peace with the rest of mankind.

And just in case you mis-read that, YES I did say three alpha wolves!!

Aden is an omega that has the worst life possible. His pack alpha and pack doctor have tortured him for years, it has become a sport to them, and they have kept him caged, starved and beaten. He is sent out into the forest as human bait for the rest of the pack when he is rescued by three of the biggest men/wolves he has ever seen.

Blaze, Darric and Connor are in the right place at the right time and they not only rescue Aden they quickly realise they are also his mates and their destiny is finally about to be fulfilled. These guys are old, very old, and have been preparing for this moment all their life. There is a lot of back story to learn, a lot of world building going on which I will leave for you to find out yourselves, but I will say it’s worth it! The story really drags you in as it enfolds.

Aden can’t remember the last time he was touched gently, loved or cherished. That is exactly how he feels with his three rescuers. They have a lot of work to do now fate has brought them together but there are a lot of tender moments and some quite hot ones whilst they get to know each other!

When Aden was rescued his old Alpha was killed but the power behind his old pack is still firmly in place and that power will stop at nothing to get to him back. There is trickery and heartbreak as things don’t go to plan.

Although this is listed as part one it doesn’t end on a cliff hanger per se but it does leave you chomping at the bit for the next part…let’s hope the wait isn’t too long!
