Join Prism Book Alliance® as Andrew Q Gordon goes Outside the Margins today.
I hadn’t plan to attend Rainbow Con this year, I was going to GRL and the local DC OutWrite Festival and figured that would be enough. Then I found out some of my favorite LGBTQ Sci-Fi/Fantasy writers were going and I took the plunge. By the time this is posted and many of you are reading it, I will be on the way to Tampa for Rainbow Con. I’m very excited (and a bit overwhelmed by what I still need to do to get ready) and really looking forward to the experience.
And, just to make my time extra special, I’m going to be sending Brandilyn daily updates from the Con (and hopefully posting pictures and stuff on the ‘company’ twitter account) If you peruse the list of authors in attendance and want me to ask them something, leave a comment and I’ll do my best to corner… I mean speak to them. J
Since there are going to be a lot of Queer Sci-Fi authors in attendance (And QSF encompasses much more than just Sci-Fi. Check them out to see all the subgenre’s they promote) I wanted to share something that will benefit QSF and help them promote many of the non-romance LGBTQ fiction authors—The Queer Sci-Fi 2nd Annual Flash Fiction Anthology; Discovery.
QSF asked it’s authors to write a story in 300 words or less. Yep, 300 words. The theme was…wait for it…discovery. There were over 100 entries and there was also a cover art contest. All proceeds go to support the QSF Website to help promote authors who write Queer Sci-fi/Fantasy, Horror, Paranormal, etc.
The eBook is $3.99 and the paperback is $9.99, and you can buy it at all the usual places.

About Andrew Q Gordon
Andrew Q. Gordon wrote his first story back when yellow legal pads, ball point pens were common and a Smith Corona correctable typewriter was considered high tech. Adapting with technology, he now takes his MacBook somewhere quiet when he wants to write.
He currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area with his partner of eighteen years, their young daughter and dog. In addition to dodging some very self-important D.C. ‘insiders’, Andrew uses his commute to catch up on his reading. When not working or writing, he enjoys soccer, high fantasy, baseball and seeing how much coffee he can drink in a day.
