TAPSTUDS #1 features acts of “Sexual Diplomacy”: an Earth military envoy and a Space Elizabethan king exchange pleasantries as part of their contractual negotiations, establishing relations through courtly manners…and hard-fucking. TAPSTUDS is a digital-original, three-issue comic series that adds sci-fi thrills to Sticky Graphic Novels’ brand of carnality and sweetness!
In FAST FRIENDS, two men accidentally find refuge, in each other’s strong arms, from both a winter storm and the cruel lovers who don’t cherish them.
GREEK LOVE: In order to dodge Ares’ wrath, wicked Eros uses his arrows to trick Ares and Herakles into falling in hot, carnal Greek love. And Eros gets his in the end for his mischief…
I previously reviewed and loved Dale Lazarov’s erotic graphic novel Peacocks Punks so I was thrilled to review three more of his works.
Once again I was blown away by the story and artwork. Absolutely stunning graphics and illustrations throughout all three books. The graphic novels don’t have any words, but that doesn’t there isn’t a story. Instead the plot is told through the art. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—Dale Lazarov can do without words what some authors can’t do with fifty or sixty thousand.
Greek Love features Greek gods in action and I do mean action. Hot, scorching, carnal action. Naughty Eros comes along to a sleeping Ares and tries to take a taste of the god of war’s leaking cock. A chase ensues and Eros shoots an arrow into first Ares’ chest then Herakles’. The two men fall in love at first sight and begin rutting like horny teenagers.
These are large and hairy men, just my type. The sexual activity between these two is simply incredible. The look on Ares’ face when Herakles sticks his face between Ares’ ass cheeks and starts rimming me is spot on. Eros watches the men cavort and fuck then joins them for a second round of even hotter lovemaking.
Tapstuds was my least favorite of the three reviewed here, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t thoroughly enjoy it. The story takes place in space between two leaders. After spending time in discussions, they strip naked and proceed to suck and fuck in every conceivable position. My favorite part was when they flipped a coin to see who topped who first.
The art was beautiful as always and, as normal with Lazarov, I appreciate seeing men other than the normal muscle man studs. Here we have a red-haired bear complete with large belly and a dark skinned man devoid of body hair. The contrast between the two body types was strikingly gorgeous. There wasn’t as much story here as I would like, but the longing looks by the men after they part ways leaves definite possibilities for the next part of the series.
Fast Friends was far and away my favorite of these three books. Though I don’t know how it’s possible to love one perfect thing more than another. The graphic novel starts with two couples engaging in sex acts that are both hot and cold. The acts themselves are erotic but ultimately without passion and all this is portrayed perfectly without words.
The two men left lonely despite just having had sex meet up at a diner and find an instant attraction and connection. When they make love it is not only erotic but emotional as well. They find a bond with each other that was lacking in their previous encounter. A true masterpiece.
I recommend these books for fans of both comic books and m/m novels. If you haven’t checked them out before I recommend you do so. Lazarov and his company, Sticky Graphic Novels, has teamed up with Class Comics, the premier publisher of gay erotic comic books. I’ve been a fan of the company for years and have loved just about everything I’ve read from there. Whether it’s action of the adventure type or action of the sexual type you’ll find it at Class Comics. Something for everyone for sure.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
