Blurb:

Danny O’Shay grew up knowing he never really fit in. His family avoids him. He falls so much that the staff at the local hospital know him by first name. And he can’t get a date to save his life.
Enter handsome fire fighters, Ben and Abe Lake, two men that bring every fantasy Danny ever had to life. Except Ben and Abe seem to have some business deal with Danny’s father that involves a ton of money and the assumption that Danny has a clue.

He doesn’t.

When Ben and Abe start talking about fated mates, shifters, and a family legacy that goes back decades, Danny is pretty sure they belong in an insane asylum. But as he gets to know the handsome twins, he begins to wonder if being crazy is that bad. Being alone again seems worse.

After someone starts trying to take Danny out of the picture permanently, he has to believe that Ben and Abe are trustworthy and not in on the plot to kill him, because they might be the only thing to keep his life from going up in flames.

My View:

I really enjoyed this first book in a new series and look forward to meeting more sets of twins in future books.

Many years ago there was a tragedy in a small town called Pacific Cove. A lot of people were left devastated and to keep Danny O’Shay safe he was moved to the city with his family. The move came with the understanding that he would receive the best of everything and be brought up with the knowledge of his people’s history.
Roll forward 20 years and Danny is a charming young man who is a bit of a klutz who has certainly not had the best of everything, has not been well looked after and has absolutely no idea about the people of Pacific Cove or their ways. He has also come of age and it is time for him to return home and take up his rightful place within his community.

When summoned to his father’s house he is filled with trepidation about how the day will go but he could never in his wildest dreams of thought up the scenario he finds himself in. Introduced to twins Abe and Ben who are Danny’s idea of walking wet dreams he is quickly whisked away and gets a fast introduction to who the twins are and who he is to them.

For all the years that Danny wished he had someone to love him and fight his corner for him he now has all that and more, in fact he now has that twice! Abe and Ben are hurt and angry at the way Danny has been treated over the years, the way they have been lied to and the way Danny’s father has conned them. Explaining to Danny who and what they really are may prove easier than they thought as someone seems intent on killing Danny and they begin the most important job of their lives – to save their mate and bring him home.
