I really enjoyed this story. It was crafted and arranged very well. I liked that these men had a bit of a history while still being almost complete strangers. I could feel the tension that came from the unknown while at the same time, I could feel the pull developing between these men.
I loved the sexual tension and the way these men easily fell into step with one another. I loved that, because they had that bit of history and such aggressive personalities, I easily believed the attraction and I easily believed that attraction turning to more rather quickly. These were two intense men so when things turned intense fast, it was true to the nature of the characters and fit the story.
But what I loved the most about this story was its playfulness. I loved Lucas’s foot fetish and that it was presented in a humorous light. I loved Cameron’s socks and that they were used to mirror his internal struggles and then became a sign of affection between the men. I loved that, while the sex was emotional and HOT, it was playful and real. These men laughed together and had fun! It increased my enjoyment of this story because it was this playfulness that made the “love” easier to believe and easier to feel. It was through the laughter that I felt the emotions.
