After a disastrous R&R where none of the Dogs got any rest or relaxation, they have returned to Camp Smokey, but they are not the same Delta Unit.
Brian’s resurrection by Duke and Alec is only one of the new complications the Mad Dogs face when their sniper cannot control his feeding frenzies, even with Duke’s help.
With Doc still comatose and H suffering mate-loss grief and Markus and Duke having their hands full with Brian, Oh and El try to hold the pack together.
However, as the pack recovers, a new threat comes from a faction they never would have expected; their own Council.
This book contains M/M sexual situations and is intended for readers of legal age in the country in which they reside. Please store your adult literature responsibly.
Remember what a disaster the mad dogs R&R was in book 4? This book carries on from there and the team is a mess. Doc is in coma and Brian is out of control and in the midst of all the drama the team is once again under threat. As mated pairs they are working well and trying to do their best but as a team the cohesion is missing and they need to rectify this before the council arrives with their nefarious plans.
This story is all about recovery and how the team can move forward. It is based entirely at their camp, there are no secret missions just a sense of being broken and the need to fix themselves. There are only 3 pureblood mad dogs left in the pack and no one is quite sure what this means for their future. Nobody is sure who to trust and the pack turns inward for survival. I hadn’t gone back and re-read all the books this time before I started and initially it was confusing with the use of initials instead of names. You have to read this series in order for it to make any sense.
S.N.A.F.U raises as many questions as it answers and readers will be desperately hoping the wait for the next book is short. Brenda was creative in her ending and left me pretty clueless as to the next step!
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
