Between the recent dramas in the M/M Romance genre and working as many jobs as I can fit in a day, I’m shattered. Today I took a Me and My Kids Day. We went down to Brighton, which if you don’t know has a huge gay scene. We headed straight for the pier. While the kids played in the arcade I sat in the sun, drank really bad coffee, and read Ethan Stone’s Closing Ranks. We have a money-box, Big Ben, in which I store loose change, and that’s what the kids use to play the machines and they were occupied for ages. I noticed a crowd gathering on one side and realised there was some filming going on. Then I saw it was Ben Miller, one of my daughter’s favourite actors. It made her day!
The next part wasn’t so exciting. We bought socks in Primark. Yes, yes, boring but necessary.
Finally we headed to Harry Ramsden for huge plates of fish and chips and watched Brighton light up as darkness fell. Just the perfect end to the day. I needed today. I should take more Me days.

They employ a carer to look after Jordan. Rhys may be a sub, but he’s forceful, making Jordan eat and exercise rather than live on coffee and cigarettes. Despite Jordan’s protests, Rhys slowly forces him back to life.
But Rhys wants to be Jordan’s sub, and despite being protective of Rhys, Jordan’s not sure he can ever return to the BDSM lifestyle. In order for their relationship to continue, they’ll need to find a compromise that meets both their needs.
