Author: Shae Connor
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Genre: Contemporary, Gay, Gay Fiction, M/M Romance, Romance
Who wouldn’t want a nice cup of tall, dark, and gorgeous? Shaun Rogers does. He’s working at the front desk of a clothing-optional gay resort when Conrad “Con” Brooks walks in. The sweet, funny, and smart IT guy is there to install a new network and security system, and sparks fly between the two men from the start. Trouble is, Shaun’s hiding his sexuality from his grandmother, the only family he has left, and that makes him reluctant to take the leap with Con.
Then a man claiming to be Shaun’s absent father shows up out of nowhere, throwing Shaun completely off balance. His life spiraling toward chaos, Shaun soon discovers that his “father” is hiding secrets of his own. When things come to a head between them, it’s Con who comes to Shaun’s rescue—but the incident could force Shaun into a decision he’s not sure he’s ready to make.
Seven Truths, Three Lies
Great big thanks to Brandilyn and the team at Prism for helping me kick off my blog tour for Nobody’s Son. I’ve got the usual suspects today, including a Rafflecopter giveaway, but there’s a little something extra, too!
In Nobody’s Son, the main character, Shaun, is faced with an antagonist feeds him some serious lies. As if that’s not bad enough, one of his biggest claims might just be the truth—and if it is, it could change Shaun’s life in some major ways.
That’s some pretty heavy stuff to deal with! And because I put all that angst on the page, there isn’t much left over, so I decided to lighten things up instead and give Prism readers an extra little gift. Let’s play a game of Seven Truths, Three Lies!
Three of the following statements are lies. I have a $5 Amazon gift card for the first person to correctly guess each of those three. One winner per lie, and one gift card per person, please. 🙂
(Note that you can still enter the Rafflecopter giveaway separately!)
- Not counting when I was born, I’ve stayed overnight in the hospital (as a patient) four times.
- My great-grandfather, grandfather, and father all served in different branches of the military.
- I taught Vacation Bible School when I was growing up, and so did my roommate.
- I spent four years marching with the band in college (and boy, are my feet tired).
- Speaking of college, I went to Troy University to start with but got my degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
- The only time I’ve been to Springfield, Illinois, was to get my degree.
- In college, I once got an A on a paper for the writing and a D for the content.
- The first president I voted for was George Bush (the father, not the son).
- One my very favorite memories was being at the game where the Atlanta Braves won the 1995 World Series.
- My last trip to Walt Disney World was also in 1995.
One lucky winner will receive a $25 Dreamspinner Press giftcard and ebook copies of Unfortunate Son and Wayward Son, the first two books in the series.

About the Author
Shae Connor lives in Atlanta, where she’s a lackadaisical government worker for a living and writes sweet-hot romance under the cover of night. She’s been making things up for as long as she can remember, but it took her a long time to figure out that maybe she should try writing them down. She’s conned several companies into publishing her work and adds a new notch on her bedpost each time another story is unleashed onto an unsuspecting universe.
Shae is part Jersey, part Irish, and all Southern, which explains why she never shuts up. When she’s not chained to her laptop, she enjoys cooking, traveling, watching baseball, and reading voraciously. You can find her hanging out on Twitter most any time @shaeconnor, but for the more direct route, you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit her website at shaeconnorwrites.com.
