Josh is totally in love with a very special guy in his life. The only problem is he can’t tell said guy his feelings because it would totally ruin everything between them – or so he thinks.
Max notices that Josh is upset about something and refuses to stop until he finds out what it is – he has to deal with knowledge of being the subject of Josh’s affections and fantasies.
Josh isn’t prepared to handle what Max has in store for him.
This was an unexpected little gem. I was apprehensive going in. The cover art was fairly mediocre, featuring guys apparently playing a Playstation 1. However, the book turned out to be better than the cover advertised. I’m always on the lookout for more incest and pseudo-incest authors, and Logan Hayes will definitely be on my watch list.
The story, while a bit on the short side, was long enough to fulfil its purpose. Don’t go into this expecting an epic romance or literary masterpiece. If you want some hot sex between two guys who aren’t supposed to be having sex together, then this is the book for you. I do wish it was longer though and would love to see more stories featuring Max and Josh!
Josh is your typical, fresh out of high school boy, nervous about going to college. Seeing Max, his older step-brother, comfort and protect his younger brother makes the reader invested in both boys. Even though it’s not a romance, you can’t help but want to see the two of them have their Happily-Ever-After together.
However, the book wasn’t perfect. It needed a good editor and beta reader. There were a lot of typos and instances of awkward sentence structure. They weren’t the end of the world, but they definitely detracted from the overall story. With some editing, even just proofreading, this book would’ve ranked a lot higher with me.
I will be watching out for Logan Hayes though. He has a lot of potential, and I’d love to see more taboo erotica and romance on the market! So if you like sexy step-brothers having their way with each other, I definitely recommend picking this one up!
