This mountain lion is out to chase his skittish chipmunk down.
Jason has always lived under the protection of his twenty brothers and sisters. Even though he cares for his neighbor, Will, when a chance to leave the home he’s lived in forever, Jason takes the chance and runs to White Pine. Unfortunately, some of his brothers are coming along for the ride.
Will can’t believe his shy chipmunk just up and moved. Through the meddling of Jason’s sisters and a best friend who lives in White Pine, Will chases Jason to White Pine. Will they be able find the connection in White Pine where they couldn’t at home?
I love this series. Each story is short and sweet and oh so fun. White Pines and its inhabitants are fabulous and every time I visit this world I find something else to love and make me smile. I am looking forward to more in this series.
Jason and Will’s story may have been short, but it was not quick. These men have been dancing around each other and Jason’s anxiety for a while. It simply took Will chasing him down for Jason to give things a shot. And once he did, things were great.
I do wish these stories were longer as I love these characters and hate that I always feel the romance is rushed. This story was easier to tolerate because I knew these men had a history, but I still wish things didn’t go from courting to HEA in just a few pages. This series has so much potential and I just wish I could spend more time in White Pines with all these great shifters.
I also have noticed a trend from this publisher lately that unfortunately found its way into this story. There were noticeable proofreading errors that while not prolific, were still annoying. However, the story was still wonderful and I enjoyed it greatly.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
