I have really mixed feelings about this book. I liked the concept a great deal. However I felt everything except the sex scenes was rushed. I do realize this is a short novel and things needed to progress rapidly, but maybe not so quickly. It seemed, to me, to lack any real substance. The little bit of conflict was solved WAY too easily. I wanted to love this story but I just didn’t feel much of anything but disappointment. I will read other books from Ms. Black to see if this was a one off that I didn’t care for or if it is her style that leaves me wanting.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
