They must escape danger before they can have their Hollywood ending.
After a few cinematic bombs lower his box-office appeal, actor Adrien Fury wants Harrison Langford to bring his career back to superstar status. He would also love to learn more about his mysterious and handsome agent, if he could ever get him alone.
Harry has loved Adrien for years but never revealed his feelings. He keeps things professional between them and will do whatever it takes to make sure Adrien gets what he wants. When increasingly disturbing letters show up at his agency, threatening horrible things against the man he loves, Harry vows to protect Adrien at all costs.
Adrien and Harry are on the verge of revealing their true feelings to each other when danger strikes. Maybe they can share a lasting love…if Adrien’s stalker doesn’t get to him first.
Adrien Fury is a movie star in Star Power and after his last couple of movies bombed he turns to his agent Harrison Langford for help in getting back on track. Along with an ailing career Adrien has a stalker who appears to be escalating and a long standing crush on his agent who he wrongly assumes is straight. What he doesn’t know is Harrison has been in love with him for ten years and would do absolutely anything to keep him safe and happy.
To de-stress the two men go out for an evening and within a few hours the parameters of their relationship change dramatically. For Adrien realising that Harrison is not only gay but is interested is a kind of ‘OH’ moment that he’s not willing to dismiss. For Harrison it becomes everything he ever dreamed of and more – he just has to be brave enough to take a chance. Harrison is dominant, possessive and in love but he’s also afraid of losing Adrien for the chance of just one night.
Really the stalker and Adrien’s career are side stories with the main focus being on Adrien and Harrison. How the pair managed to notch up ten years of friendship and working together without either realising how the other felt is comical but once they do realise things get hot pretty quickly!
I always try to avoid saying ‘this would be great as a longer novel’ in my reviews but in Star Power I think this is definitely the case. Morticia Knight has teased us with two quite compelling characters and I would have loved to read more about them and in more depth particularly the D/s side of their relationship.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
