Mad Dogs book 6
The attack on their downtime base, Camp Smokey has caused the Mad Dogs to scatter. Aside from the core pack and the former Watcher Duke, the status of their CO, McCormick, and Councilman Representative, Rolex, is unknown.
Either their own Order or the Organization is trying to take them out. Going AWOL is their only option until they can figure out which faction is hunting them… and who they can trust.
This book is part of a series and should not be read as a stand alone novel.
This book contains M/M sexual situations and is intended for readers of legal age in the country in which they reside. Please store your adult literature responsibly.
Mad Dogs Series:
Picking up immediately from where book 5 left off this visit with the Mad Dogs sees them out in the wind and using their numerous skills to stay alive and fight for their team. They have fled their barracks which are no longer safe, they have run off in their mated pairs and their mission is to meet up at Shadowlands, a nightclub run by previous allies, when they are sure they are no longer being followed.
The Mad Dogs and their situation constantly evolves and each book is like watching an episode of a TV programme. You never get the full story and you are always left with unanswered questions. You can’t just pick up this series and start in the middle, it is definitely one that you must start from the beginning and learn the history of the group of men involved. As one question is answered another presents itself and the writing leads to many options of where the author could/will eventually take the story.
The introduction of Duke has proved both interesting and dangerous to the dynamics of the group and I hope Brenda doesn’t make us wait too long for more of that storyline. At the end of AWOL one thing is certain – the Dogs are due for even more change and upheaval and its anyone’s guess as to whether they are really ready.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
