Marcus has just become the only human ever to be Alpha of a werewolf pack and thwarted the plans of Anubis to destroy the goddess Sirius’ creation – the werewolves.

Now, Anubis has decided to focus his efforts instead on Marcus and his new pack, to try and destroy the pack from within. In order to do this, Anubis seeks the one thing Marcus wants above all else and when he finds it, will use that to get him to walk away from his mates and the pack.

Unaware of the evil god’s plans, Marcus works together with Kellan and Ricoh, not only trying to help Nate recover from the vicious torture he has undergone at the hands of the terrorist group, The Winter Circle, but to also come to terms with leading a pack of over two thousand wolves.

Marcus soon will be faced with a dilemma, but will he give everything up for his mates and the pack or will the temptation Anubis offers him be too much for one human to refuse? Will Marcus put his wolves before himself or will he be tricked into leaving them behind forever?

My View:

Dilemma starts out with a cranky Anubis who has once again been defeated but is not deterred. He immediately sets about putting into place his next plan to take down the wolves and is aiming his devious plot at our new group of four – Marcus, Kellan, Ricoh and Nate.

Although Victoria Sue has continued the story albeit with a new group of men she has adeptly given us the same but also a very different story. This group of four men each come to the relationship with a huge amount of baggage and a lot of it is tied up to their previous actions within the pack. They all have different strengths, weaknesses and desires that whilst making them compatible doesn’t allow them to function easily. It is the desires of these men, Marcus in particular that Anubis will mess with this time.

Marcus is the epitome of strength in the eyes of his wolves but in his own mind he always sees himself as less. Where the wolves who have bowed down to him as alpha and see only a strong and compassionate man he sees only the things he can’t do without his legs. It is a constant daily battle in Marcus’s mind and one that is causing his confidence to wane.

Taking over the pack has taken a back seat for all four men whilst they try to fix themselves to ensure they have the strength required for the task ahead. Of the four Nate needs the most healing after enduring such damaging torture. Unable to be left alone and unable to mix with the pack Nate is almost a full time job and everyone is fearful for his recovery. There is a surprise there and definitely not one you will see coming!

The dilemma that Marcus faces could be the thing to destroy them all even though no one quite realises the danger it presents. Once again Victoria Sue has given up another epic instalment in her Sirius Wolves. One that pulls you in and refuses to let you go until you have finished and although these men are very different from the first group they are just as lovable, just as damaged and just as important.

Wouldn’t it be great if Marcus could be turned – hint, hint 
