Each Friday, here at Prism Book Alliance® we will be tackling a very important topic… of sorts. Five Thing Friday… The topic will change each week, so be sure to check back. We encourage you to comment with your own Five Things!
Topic: Favorite Snacks While Reading
We asked each of our reviewers to tell us about what are your five favorite things to eat/drink or snack upon while reading? If you don’t like to eat, drink or snack while you read please tell us why.
Veggie sticks and hummus
Dariy milk chocolate
soft candy (Haribo Colorado)
Tea or coffee
Generally no snacks, especially with paper books, hate getting stuff on the page
Tea – pretty much anytime
Sparkling water – if it’s hot
Gin + tonic – but only in moderation, I have had to go back and re read on more than one occasion
I don’t like to eat/ snack when I read, I have ruined an e-reader before now with crumbs and greasy finger prints !
Whiskey/scotch on the rocks
Really good scotch, neat
Cafe Mocha – in the morning only
Pepsi or Perrier – depending on the time of day
Tea in the afternoon/evening
Pretzels/Cheetos/Chips occasionally 😉
(I used to eat a ton of popcorn while I read, but I have kicked that habit)
Gummy bears or other gummy candies
I mostly read when I am in bed for the night, or haven’t gotten out of bed yet in the mornings, or I listen to audiobooks while I drive to/from work so I don’t really eat or drink while I read.
English Breakfast Tea
That’s about it – I don’t really snack much
So what are your Five Things???
