When life tears apart your dream, build a new one.
After a knee injury ended his career, Broadway dancer Pate Hawkins limped his way back from New York to Atlanta to implement Plan B: open a dance academy to train the next generation of song-and-dance dreamers. When model-gorgeous contractor Ace Samson answers his request for an estimate on renovating his studio space, Pate hits pay dirt in more ways than one. As construction gets underway, the red-hot attraction between the two men flares, and soon they develop a fledgling relationship. Then the siren song of the stage calls Pate back, and he has to choose between the dream he left behind and the new life he’s building—with his studio, and with Ace.
Cover Reveal: Rhythm & Blues by Shae Connor
First up, big thanks to Brandilyn for setting me up with a spot at Prism Book Alliance today to reveal the cover for my upcoming novella, Rhythm & Blues, which releases on June 20.
When I first decided to self-publish a set of novellas, one big decision was choosing which of the excellent cover artists in the genre to hire to create my covers. Any of the ones I contacted would have been awesome, but I settled on AngstyG, who creates covers for my roomie (JP Barnaby), among others. I sent her the cover model images I’d already selected and some general ideas of what I liked, and she sent back several drafts that were all so great it made it so hard to pick just one. But I couldn’t be happier with the design I chose.
Here you go: the cover art for Rhythm & Blues.
So pretty! I can’t wait to show off the other two when they’re ready to publish.
