Title: Fierce & Fabulous
Author: Elizabeth Varlet
Publisher: Carina Press
Genre: Contemporary, Gay Romance
Release Date: 06/27/2016

The first in a scorching new male/male series by Elizabeth Varlet. Behind the Sassy Boyz’s seductive smiles and sinful dance moves are desires that will leave readers breathless.

Fitch Donovan never thought a lap dance could change his life, but from the moment the gorgeous dancer’s lips touch his, his world comes screeching to a halt. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t shake the desire that rocks him to his core. He’s longed for this passion all his life—he just never dreamed he’d find it with another man.

Sharing a soul-shaking kiss with a straight boy is the kind of drama Ansel Becke just doesn’t need. Spotlights aren’t made for two and Ansel prefers to keep things on a one-night-only basis. So when Fitch shows up asking for an encore, Ansel knows he should send his gorgeous ass packing.

Though Ansel tries to pretend that what’s between him and Fitch is far from fabulous, there’s something about the big, burly contractor that makes Ansel’s world sparkle in a way no amount of glitter ever could. And Fitch will do whatever it takes to convince Ansel that when the thing you need most in the world falls right into your lap, you’d be a fool to let it go.

Ten Places I Want to Visit

Good morning, everyone! I’m so happy to be here at Prism Book Alliance today talking about my top ten places I want to visit and to celebrate the release of the first book in my Sassy Boyz series, Fierce & Fabulous.

The entire series takes place in New York City, so it should be no shock that the number one place on my list is the city that never sleeps.

New York City – I’ve been here a few times, but I’ve never stayed for more than a few days. I’d love to spend a week or more exploring the city, going to shows, eating amazing food, and just generally soaking up inspiration.

I’m lucky there is so much information about the city online and that so many movies and television shows are set there, but it’s not the same as knowing things for yourself. Each time I visited, I was young and naive and accompanied by either adults or friends who knew where they were going. But one of my favorite things to do when visiting a new city is to get lost. New York just seems like the perfect place to get lost because there is something new and exciting around every corner.

Budapest – The capitol of Hungary seems so beautiful and intrigue from everything I’ve seen and read so far, with such a rich history. I want to see Vajdahunyad Castle and Gresham Palace, especially in winter when they are covered in snow and everything around them is silent and still. And, probably most importantly, I want to try the food! Real, traditional Hungarian Goulash and Ruszwurm Cream Cake are on the top of my list.

Seoul, Korea – In Dark & Dazzling, Sassy Boyz book two, you will be introduced to a new character who is from Seoul. I have recently become obsessed with Korean music and language. I would absolutely love to visit Seoul and the surrounding areas. I want to see a K-Pop concert and eat Kimchi and meet some fabulous people.

Cinque Terre – If you haven’t heard about these five stunning Italian towns on the coast of the Ligurian Sea then you really need to Google it. One look and you will understand my desire to visit this place. The gorgeous colors, the rocky cliffs, the blue sea, and let us not forget, wonderful Italian cuisine. What more could a girl ask for?

Norway – Ever since I was a young and read about these amazing things called, fjords, where mountains go straight down into the sea to create these stunningly picturesque scenes, I’ve wanted to see them for myself. I want to go to Stavanger and see the view from Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). I want to sail the Lofoten Islands and explore them all. I want to sleep under the Northern Lights with a billion stars overhead.

Lake Sorvagsvatn, Faroe Islands – Halfway between Island and the British Islands this place seems like the perfect place to disappear for a while. It’s so remote it is hard to find it on a map. I can just imagine myself in a little cabin, warm by the fire, writing a Viking story.

Ireland – Ireland has long been a fascination, especially after I read Nora Robert’s Irish Trilogy. The way she brought the world to life made me want to be there experiencing it with her characters. I want to see the Giant’s Causeway for myself. I want to stand on the cliffs and let the wind blow my hair. I want to sit in a pub and listen to the locals singing. I mean, who doesn’t what to see Ireland? It’s a land of myths and legends and a reputation for fun.

Monument Valley – I’m ashamed to admit I haven’t been farther west than Texas even though I was born in the States. In fact, I’ve probably seen more of Europe than I have of the US. But, Monument Valley is one place I’m dying to see. Every image seems eerie and wonderful at the same time. I just want to stand there in awe while the sunsets on those huge rock formations.

Florida Keys – This is probably self-explanatory. For me, the Keys have this reputation for being laid back and free which means I’ll fit right in. But probably the biggest reason I want to visit is for the chance to drive across the Seven Mile Bridge.

Hawaii – Because…why not?

Thank you all for hanging out with me. I’d love to hear about all the places you want to see. Maybe I can add a few more destinations to my list. In the meantime, I hope you’ll check out Fierce & Fabulous.

  1. Another author I haven’t yet tried. I do love the sound of this book – definately one I’ll be adding to my TBR. 😀
    Congratulations on the new release!

  2. Congrats on the new release! I love your list of places to visit. The last two are my favorite vacation spots (Florida Keys & Hawaii).

  3. Congrats on your release. I’ve already put it on my TBR list.

Carmel and Monterey, California. Maui, Hawaii. New York City, New York. Bar Harbor, Maine. Montreal and Vancouver, Canada. Estes Park, Colorado. The Grand Tetons, Wyoming. Seattle, Washington. Portland, Oregon. I hope to head to Europe next year.

  4. Living in Indonesia, traveling abroad is quite expensive… BUT, I would really really love to be able to visit Greece, the United Kingdom (esp. Scotland and Wales), Ireland, and either Austria or Switzerland. There are actually cheaper flights from my country to South Korea, so maybe I could go there as well, although I’m not as obsessed with anything Korean like you do haha

  5. Thanks for sharing your ten places. Korean is somewhere I’ve wanted to visit too. My friend just recently returned from visiting her husband’s family. She had a great time.

  6. Thanks for sharing the ten places you’d like to visit! I want to see so many places – Scotland, Wales, the south of France, Budapest, Istanbul, the pyramids in Egypt to name just a few!

  7. Such wonderful choices of sites to visit. Any of your choices would be fine by me. But, on a “local” list, I would choose Best Friend’s Animal Sanctuary, Sedona, Arizona, and the diamond mine in Arkansas where you can dig for gemstones. Thanks for the chance to win, and congrats on the new book.
