One proposition, one night. Could it be the beginning of a forever after for a Master and sub?
Garson teaches poetry and literature at the local college, but what he does on his own time is much different. His need for pain and dominance is strong, but his fear of letting go is stronger. He won’t let any Dom touch him sexually, and his other hard limits are even more extreme. But lately, his one-hour-a-week sessions haven’t been satisfying him anywhere near enough.
Jarvis finds the bookish and reserved Garson captivating. His love of extreme pain is thrilling. But there’s also a hedonistic wanton hiding beneath the surface of the detached sub, and Jarvis aches to be the one who sets him free. After waiting for a year to crack Garson’s carefully constructed shield, Jarvis conceives of a plan.
Garson knows he shouldn’t give in to Jarvis’ proposition that they spend an evening getting to know each other, but the reward of unlimited time in Jarvis’ dungeon is much too tempting. Or is it Jarvis who’s the most tempting thing of all?
Publisher’s Note: This book has previously been released as part of the His Rules anthology with Pride Publishing.
This is a short but satisfying story and centres on Garcon and Jarvis.
‘Once bitten twice shy’ is the mantra that Garcon lives by. After being let down badly by his previous Dom Garcon is determined never to allow his heart to be hurt like that again. He has his submissive needs met in a very clinical way – he attends a BDSM club for an hour a week, he has a favourite Dom who can meet his needs for pain but there is absolutely nothing sexual allowed to happen – zero, nada, zilch! His limits are non-negotiable as he keeps his bubble of protection firmly ensconced around his heart.
Jarvis has been playing with Garcon once a week for the last year and although accustomed and respectful of his limits he is dying for a chance to crack open the man he has slowly been falling for. Jarvis is a gentle man and Dom who finally gets the chance to challenge Garcon when he turns up unexpectedly looking for an extra session. The challenge isn’t anything awful – he wants to take Garcon to dinner and talk. TALK – that one word has Garcon shaking in his shoes.
That one small change in routine provides the small crack that Jarvis has been waiting for and that Garcon has tried to avoid – one powerful scene – that is all the chance that Jarvis will get to finally break down Garcon’s walls and get the man that haunts his thoughts.
