Benson is a smug millionaire used to being in control–even when it comes to “love.” If only there was someone who could make him change his mind.
Simon’s a smart, sensitive ex-wrestler who loves working with his hands. If only he could overcome his fear of giving himself to someone for the first time.
These two men collide one Friday night when Benson makes his illicit proposal. Simon didn’t believe the fifty grand for one night was real…not that it mattered. He would have done it for free.
The heart wants what it wants–it’s up to them to keep love from slipping away. Will they realize that before it’s too late?
This story didn’t work for me but I think there are lots of readers who will enjoy it.
First of all it’s a serial, which I don’t like, and didn’t realize when I first decided to review it. It’s a quick read at around fifty pages but even so I was rather bored. I didn’t think the characters were all that special and I didn’t see the chemistry here.
The plot revolves around an Indecent Proposal type agreement between billionaire Benson and younger man Simon. The book starts with Benson and Simon having sex which, next to a description of the weather, is my least favorite way to begin a book. It’s like watching porn because I know absolutely nothing about these characters. Then based on one night of sex Simon and Benson are supposedly unable to stay away from each other. Why? I have no idea. I was told they had feelings for each other but I didn’t experience the emotions.
The writing isn’t bad here, it just didn’t engage me. However, I think many readers will like the fast paced writing and the passionate love at first screw type story.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
