Release Date: 11/28/2016

Shy nurse Cora both dreads and lives for the moments she sees Zeke, an orderly at the hospital where she works. Zeke is too handsome, too compelling, too much, and seems totally unaware of Cora. But before she can bring herself to his attention, an explosion rips through the hospital Christmas party.

Zeke has noticed Cora—in fact, he’s so irresistibly drawn to her that he saves her from the explosion by turning her into a vampire, much to the jealousy and resentment of his partner, Merrick. Zeke hates being a vampire, and now that she’ll live, doesn’t want Cora to suffer his fate. If they can both resist the overwhelming instinct to bond, joining their bodies as Cora draws her maker’s blood, she might be able to return to her normal human life.

As Merrick uses every erotic trick to keep Zeke distracted from the blood passion, Cora becomes more and more drawn to both of her reluctant captors. And more and more happy to abandon her old life in exchange for an eternity with two hot immortal lovers. All she has to do is convince Merrick and Zeke that being a vampire isn’t all that bad.

Recent Release Spotlight with Charlotte Stein

We are here today to talk about Frostbitten.  What can you tell us about it?

It’s a menage tale – two hot vampires, one still just about human girl.

Please tell us more about our main characters.

The heroine is a nurse, who’s had a crush on one of the heroes for a long time. Of course she has no idea he’s a vampire. Or that he’s been in a relationship with the other hero of the tale for centuries.

What about Frostbitten makes you the proudest?

There were times when I really wanted to give up on the creation of this book. But I persevered.

What is next for these characters?  Is there more to this series?  If so who will we hear from next?

I think this is it for these characters – their story is definitely finished!

If you could give one piece of advice to aspiring writers, what would it be?

Never agree to do something before checking out the publisher first. Ask around, make sure you’ve spoken to authors who’ve been there and done that.

What one story made you lose sleep as a kid?

Probably the story Monster, by Christopher Pike. Not just because it’s a really scary tale for teenagers/kids, but because of the unsettling themes he always put in his work.

Do you ever abandon a draft partly written and just move on? Do you keep a file of plot ideas?

Absolutely! I’ve got like a million folders on my laptop with loads and loads of unfinished stories. Sometimes when something isn’t working, it’s best just to cut your losses and run.

How will the world end?

Probably with a whimper.

If you had to be a character in a Stephen King book – which one would you choose?

Carrie. Oh man, just to be able to move things with my mind.

What are you reading right now and what is next on your to-be-read list?

I’m reading If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo and next up is the second book in the Lilith’s Brood series by Octavia Butler.

Salt or Pepper? Salt
Neville or Ron? Neville
Hawaii or Colorado? Hawaii
