Even if Webb wanted a May-December romance to work, it might be too late if he can’t win Dario’s trust again.
Dario Navarro is a twenty-four-year-old man who has taken care of his ill mother his entire life. When his mother’s illness gets to be too much, and he has to put her in a nursing home, rediscovering himself turns out to be harder than it seems. All he wants is someone to rely on, who has his back. He thought that maybe Webb could be that person, but Webb’s issues with their age difference stand in the way.
Alright! The baddy has been caught! I hope she gets the book thrown at her, but I also kind of hope she escapes so this series will continue. Just like the other novellas, this one is rushed and not really well flushed out. At the same time, it is just like the other novellas in that this is series crack and I love the men of Demon elite. I love Webb and Dario and am so glad they got together. These men are so “masculine and alpha male” yet they are just so loving and oddly tender. This series has had its ups and downs, but I enjoy it and will keep enjoying it as long as the author produces stories.
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
